Happy New Year! Goodness gracious hasn't that gone by so fast? So much has happened this past year, that I feel I just might need a whole year to digest it. Some good, some challenging, and some revealing of the little areas I'm keen to continue growing in.
I finally launched the business last summer; we unexpectantly had to move home; and I started a new job with far more pleasant colleagues! I connected with so many of you over on Instagram and finally started to feel like I'm part of a community of like-minded mamas.
Whilst dipping my toes into the business world was not without its challenges, it has provided me with plenty of opportunities for lessons and growth. Twenty-five such lessons to be exact - I've counted! Whilst reflecting back on the past year, I've also thought about what do to more of, or differently, in offering you value over here. Two chief things come to mind: increased opportunity for us to connect and reflect, and sharing more resources on the things that matter or make a difference in our lives. To that end, in addition to being more visible here on the blog, I'll be sending out a newsletter every two weeks to share some of those nuggets. Over the next year, I hope to share the lessons from the past year with you, both as a mother and as a human being trying to make sense of myself, the world we live in and how I relate to it. I hope though, that some of these lessons will resonate with you, and together we can create a sense of "nomalcy" for our shared experiences and often-times struggles. I look forward to connecting with you over these lessons.
